All Give Some, Some Gave All.

I think the rain on this Memorial Day (at least here around Lansing, Michigan) can be considered a sign. Because it's not just the day we cook some BBQ 'cause we've got a day off. It's not just the day we have a party for friends and family or go shopping at Macy's to get the best "Memorial Day sales."
Today is the day we celebrate the sacrifice--the greatest form of love--by our Military men and women. Yes, there's the American Dream--actually being able to live our life, to honor what is honorable, and do what's right for you and your family etc. But without the American Sacrifice, the American Dream is absolutely impossible!
"All give some, Some gave all." All give/gave some. That includes us, here in the safety--won by our military--of our homes, at our sometimes boring, meaningless jobs. "Some gave all." ALL. We especially commemorate those who have given all. Those who have laid down their lives for others; the greatest and bravest of them all. The BRAVE.
God bless the land of the free, who are so ONLY because of the Brave.

Happy Memorial Day!
