Kili Cosplay HOBBIT CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

Guys I know it's been too long but I always forget about this poor blog. That being said - I don't care as it's past midnight and I've been working for approximately 6 hours on various pieces of my Kili costume!!!!

This has been an ongoing project basically since the beginning of the school year. I've collected parts of the outfit for a while and I've had a lot of fun searching for what I needed. 

It was fun. Mostly fun. Sort of. Most of the time. 

What I mean by my vague sentences is that about 90% of the time I had an incredibly enjoyable time finding things there was still many moments where I didn't know how to make/pay for something. 

BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT.

What's important is that the Hobbit is premiering in the US in two days, and I am almost completely ready for it, as far as costumes go!! Pictures will be below. Basically Kili's outfit goes like this: brown pants (tucked into boots); blue longsleeved under-tunic, which goes about to the knees, and has a hood; an under-vest with decorative trim; a big leather coat with half-sleeves and fur trim; chest belt with decorative metal bits and trim, which holds the quiver at the back; belt at the waist; big brown boots with covers and buckles; bracers with decorative stuffs; partially fingerless brown gloves; silver *manly* hair clip.

That's all I can think of right now, and I mostly followed that pattern. Consolidated some stuff, but close enough. You'll see in the pics :D

I'll post myself wearing the whole costume some time tomorrow and then when I get my makeup done by my awesome friend Mandie (who will be Tauriel yyayayay) I'll put stuff up of that.
